Glenn Hargraves:
Founder of Localsearch & Winner's Locker
About Glenn
Born in Melbourne, Glenn began his career in 1992 working for a private phone directory company in the United States. He relocated back to Australia and co-founded Localsearch with his brother in 1993. Pioneering a localised marketing approach, Localsearch revolutionised the industry as Australia's first alternative phone directory for regional areas.
Today, Localsearch stands as an industry leader, a testament to Glenn’s innovative spirit and commitment to transforming the landscape of local business marketing. He also recently established Winner’s Locker—a community where sports enthusiasts are rewarded with prizes, discounts and more.
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit."

What's your business philosophy?
My business philosophy centres on prioritising customer service as the key to ongoing client loyalty. I firmly believe that fostering strong relationships is not only essential for customer satisfaction but also minimises retention costs—a vital factor for success in business. This commitment to exceptional service and lasting connections forms the core of my approach to entrepreneurship.
What does your typical day look like?
While I am extremely busy it might shock you to learn that I am not always an early riser! Balance is key even when it results in a jam-packed calendar and I am a big believer in a 'work hard play hard' mentality. My current focus is on investing time and energy into my latest project, Winner's Locker and I will always make time for my family.
Tell us about Winner’s Locker
Winner's Locker is my latest venture, where the magic of sports converges with incredible prizes. Our mission is to create a vibrant community of sports enthusiasts who share the same level of passion for the game as we do. We've crafted a unique rewards system, featuring exclusive discounts, giveaways and more. We’re also dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of those who need it most, partnering with charities like LIVIN and Save The Children.
What are you passionate about outside of business?
I have a profound love for sports, spanning from AFL and boxing, UFC, motorsports to snow skiing, jet skiing and yoga. Advocating for health and fitness is another area close to my heart. I actively engage in activities that contribute to a healthy lifestyle and physical well-being. Beyond that, I cherish moments of exploration and quality time with my wife, Victoria and kids. Travelling and creating lasting memories with my family are the treasures that truly enrich my life.
What Are Your Core beliefs?
As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my core beliefs align with the principles of the faith. I am dedicated to demonstrating my commitment to core Christian values through active participation in voluntary work with the church. Giving back to the community is not just a practice but an embodiment of the principles that guide my life and actions.
What are your favourite restaurants on the Gold Coast?
That’s a tough one! Some of my favourites include Kiyomi, Social Eating House, George’s On Broadbeach, Moo Moo’s, Mamasan and Nineteen at The Star. Each restaurant offers a unique culinary experience, contributing to the vibrant and diverse food culture that the Gold Coast has to offer.
